We are currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner .
The Senior HR Business Partner (SHRBP) position is a strategic partner that is responsible for collaborating with business leaders to align business objectives with employee abilities and performance in order to achieve desired outcomes. The SHRBP serves as a consultant to management on human resources related issues and help formulate strategies and initiatives that deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The SHRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit’s financial position, midrange plans, culture and competition. The successful SHRBP effectively support L3 initiatives while will acting as an employee champion and change agent.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute to the business strategy by helping business leaders identify, prioritize and build organizational capabilities, behaviors and HR processes
Support internal clients by advising and counseling employees and managers regarding HR related matters
Lead talent management initiatives for client groups and works with business leaders to establish development plans that align resources with current and future business needs and standards
Analyze trends and incorporate key business metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and performance targets which improves HR and Business performance
Work closely with management and employees to maintain positive working relationships, build morale and engagement, and increase productivity and planning
Provide guidance and input on workforce planning and learning and development
Participate in the talent acquisition process by developing managers’ candidate selection skills, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires
Provide performance management guidance and coaching to all levels of management; including coaching, counseling, career development and disciplinary actions
Attends and actively participates in weekly department level staff meetings for respective business units and client groups
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues
Conduct effective, thorough and objective HR investigations and make recommendations for resolution while driving a culture of trust and respect
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Organizational Development or related field of study
Minimum of 5 years of HR related experience in a generalist role
Previous experience working in SAP, Taleo, Halogen and SuccessFactors
Previous experience working in software industry and/or Department of Defense
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of federal and state HR laws and regulations
Ability to collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information
Breadth of business acumen skills, along with the ability to problem solve and effectively utilize critical thinking skills
Strong leadership, interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
Proven ability to collaborate across divisions with internal HR peers, stakeholders, operating leaders as well as influence all levels of management
Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, evaluate talent, and manage conflicting priorities in a dynamic environment
Takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment and requires minimal supervision.
Flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity; should have strong resiliency to rapid change
Demonstrates analytical capabilities; ability to influence with data driven recommendations
Ability to drive results while managing multiple priorities
Ability to work in multiple HRIS systems
Critical thinking and creative problem solving skills combined with sound judgment
Unquestionable ethics and respect for confidentiality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to manage difficult conversations and communicate respectively and tactfully at all levels
Willing and able to work additional hours as needed to ensure responsibilities are met
