Job Summary

BASIC PURPOSE : The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process through data collection and assessment, identifying and determining the priority of patient’s/ resident’s/client’s problems/needs, and evaluating the process and outcome of nursing care. The RN coordinates, provides and directs patient teaching activities and coordinates the care provided by health team members. The RN possesses good interpersonal and teamwork skills and practices the Core Values of the Mercy Health Care System.

EDUCATION, SPECIALIZED AND/OR TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Graduate of state approved school of nursing
  2. Current RN licensure to practice nursing issued by the State of Ohio
  3. Additional training in area of specialization required and demonstrated by unit-based competency.
  4. CPR proficiency.

Shift and Job Schedule

Hours: Full-Time, 36 hours weekly

Shift: Afternoons/Nights, 4:00pm - 4:00am
